Pastel creates a new mural in Girona, Spain
Francisco Diaz aka Pastel is the latest artist to paint on the streets of Girona in Spain for the Milestone Street Art Project.
Painted in the district of "Font de la Polvora", a gipsy neighborhood where the public space is used as an extension of their homes. The site identity is an important element of his inspiration because its a community full of habits and traditions. Birds competition, cigarettes, chatting, smokes, playing cards. This neighborhood was created in a wasteland around the city's periphery.
In front of the wall is located a very thin river where some wild plants are growing and animals are drinking water. The wall represents this area considered as outcast for some but definitely united between them.
