Mural '15: JAZ unveils a new mural in Montreal, Canada

While you discovered some progress images a few days ago, JAZ has now wrapped up his latest intervention on the streets of Montreal, Canada.

While you discovered some progress images a few days ago, JAZ has now wrapped up his latest intervention on the streets of Montreal, Canada.
In town for the excellent Mural Festival 2015, the Argentinean artist brought to life this stunning mural showing some of his signature imagery. As usual with the JAZ, the duality within each and the clash of forces is a constant, all reinforced by a subtle, yet highly attained technique.
The towering piece incorporates an aesthetic developed in his paper collage works, in which complex images are rendered in fragmented blocks of solid colour. The mural is painted on dividing line between the English and French sides of the city, and explores the theme of duality, the convergence of different cultures and their coexistence and the daily tension that exists within a region that historically has sought separation and independence.
Hit the jump for more detailed images on JAZ's mural and if you are in the area, you'll be able to find Rue Saint Dominique, close to the Boulevard Saint-Laurent.
