Pastel paints a new mural in Playa del Carmen, México
After Italy, Portugal and Argentina, our friend Francisco Diaz aka Pastel is not slowing down with his work and his beautiful mural in Playa del Carmen proves it.
During his recent stay in Mexico Argentinian artist painted a new piece titled “Pre-hispanic conquest”. Addressing the issue of colonization of central and south America by the Spanish, this beautiful work is another great example of his unique visual language. With a soft gradient background that matches the sun setting sky, different plants depicted with complementing colors and using the structure shape as an unusual format the piece appears as a large painted placed in the middle of a town.
