Carl Cashman Paints A New Mural With Stuart Sale on Bondi Beach in Sydney

Carl Cashman recently spent few weeks downunder, getting ready for his upcoming show @ Gauntlet gallery in SF. During his stay, he painted a trippy geo-based mural on the popular Bondi beach in Sydney together with Stuart Sale.
Based on his recent print release the mural is an image created by cutting horizontal and vertical lines. Through this new concept the artist manages to incorporate text and symbols in his work, so this simple yet very effective piece spells LOVE surrounded with heart symbols. Taking it easy working in the scorching Aussie sun, the artists finished this razor sharp piece in 3 days.
Check out some process photos after the jump and stay tuned for more street art reports from around the globe.

The children wait to fill empty water vessels which is a symbol for the healing component. The work comments on the scale of the current refugee crisis and echo's a cynical view on how history repeats itself.
