Sego creates a new mural in Harlem, New York City
"Freedom and Emancipation of The Natural World" is the latest offering from our friend Sego to the streets of Harlem in New York City.
Painting for the Monument Art Festival which took place last week, the Mexican muralist created this beautiful and dope piece which is showing the headshot of the statue of liberty painted in his signature organic style.

El Mac and Celso Gonzalez collaborate on a large mural in Harlem, New York City
The Monument Art Festival recently took place on the streets of New York City where El Mac and Celso Gonzalez teamed up to work on this massive wall located in Harlem.
After several days of intense work on this vintage building, the American-Puerto Rican duo unveiled a beautiful piece of street art showcasing a stunning portrait by El Mac against a background by Celso. Once again with El Mac, at this scale, his trademark striation technique is mighty impressive.

Ever paints a large mural in Harlem, New York City
Ever was also part of this year's line-up for Monument Art which took place on the busy streets of Harlem in New York City.
"The second conquest" is a piece that reflects reality, future and progress. The three characters describe the American reality, their new skin, new protagonists. Based on photos taken by Martha Cooper in the 90s of immigrants in East Harlem, the past meets the present on the construction of the neighborhood.
The red flag is the symbolic representation of the fight of Puerto Rican Young Lords during the 60s to improve the living conditions of Puerto Ricans in East Harlem. They also demanded the evacuation of the island of Vieques occupied by the US Army, but above all, demanded the independence of Puerto Rico.
Somebody once said that the "first conquest" was made by Christopher Columbus, but today the reality is different.
