After painting mostly within his homeland's borders, it is great to see Russian artist Rustam Qbic taking part in the Mural Istanbul festival. During his recent stay in Istanbul, he painted an impressive piece entitled "Miracle".Marking a special moment in his life, the piece celebrates the miracle of bringing new life. Known for surrealist, emotive works that carry universal positive messages, this piece is no exception. Showing a big human-like flower carrying a new life inside a lush garden, the mural took 7 days to be completed. With colorful flowers, burning candles and monarch butterflies around it, the piece has a calming, almost meditating feel to it.
