"The Rebuild" a new mural by Fintan Magee in Kiev, Ukraine
Eastern Europe is once again welcoming Fintan Magee which just finished gracing the streets of Kiev in Ukraine with a brand new mural.
Entitled "The Rebuild", the talented Australian street artist unveils a beautiful scene showing a young woman holding a bunch of branches in her arms. Marking the beginning of a rebuild, the scene seems to happen just after a large flooding, a recurring scene in Fintan's work.

Fintan Magee "The Water Carriers", a new installation in Sydney
Fintan Magee just sent us a series of images from his newest installation which was just completed somewhere on the streets of Sydney, Australia.
The image of the children is taken from a photograph from a discarded newspaper clipping. The work shows seven Syrian refugee children, at first they appear as regular children but as you step deeper into the space the mirrors we installed distort the image and you discover that the line of children stretches infinitely. The children wait to fill empty water vessels which is a symbol for the healing component. The work comments on the scale of the current refugee crisis and echo's a cynical view on how history repeats itself.

Fintan Magee "The River Crossing", a new mural in Kiev, Ukraine
Our friend Fintan Magee is currently in Ukraine where he was flown over to work his magic on a building located on the streets of Kiev.
The Australian street artist spent about a week up high on his cherry picker to create and paint yet another stunning artwork which is simply entitled "The River Crossing".

"Moving the Pointless Monument", an incredible piece by Fintan Magee in Werchter, Belgium
Fintan Magee is currently in Belgium where he just finished working on an incredible new piece for North West Walls in Werchter, Belgium.
Entitled "Moving the Pointless Monument", the Australian muralist killed it with a brilliant use of the surrounding vegetation. Working on a container structure, Fintan painted one of his signature character in a trompe-l'oeil setting.
