"#AROUNDTHEWORLD", a new mural by Bicicleta Sem Freio in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

While we last heard from them in California a few days ago, the globe-trotting Bicicleta Sem Freio are back in Brazil where they just finished working on a large new mural on the streets of Rio De Janeiro.
Entitled "#AROUNDTHEWORLD", this mural was created in partnership with Marriott Rewards and JUSTKIDS to commemorate the NBA Global Games in Rio.
Taking place last week-end, the Orlando Magic triumphed with a 90-73 victory over Flamengo at the HSBC Arena. Next stop for the global games will be Mexico City on December 3rd.

Taking place last weekend, the Orlando Magic triumphed with a 90-73 victory over Flamengo at the HSBC Arena. Marriott Rewards will be joining the remaining NBA Global Games in Montreal, Mexico City, and London.

Working on the busy streets of the Catete district in the beautiful Zona Sul of Rio, the talented Brazilian street art duo worked their magic to create this vibrant mural which is showcasing some of their trademark style and imagery. The blue basketball is surrounded by three hands, a recurrent element in Bicicleta's work. The hands are representing the earth, from city to ocean to land. This piece is now one of the largest murals living in Rio De Janeiro.

"#AROUNDTHEWORLD" represents the campaign that is rewarding Marriott’s loyalty members with elite NBA experiences in Brazil, Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the UK. Marriott Rewards members are able to access the NBA Global Games and their related events, while North American members can enter a sweepstakes that will take them to the London game in January.

Marriott Rewards is the award-winning loyalty traveler program that rewards you with exclusive membership privileges when staying at one of Marriott’s 4,000 properties worldwide.
